Hittite University, which was established on March 17, 2006 in the province of Çorum, where trust and peace prevail, and the shining star of its region, represents both civilization and innovation with the slogans "The Sun of Knowledge that Enlighten Civilization", "The Most Prestigious State University" and "Brand City World University", with its colorful university life. Together with its employment-oriented departments, it offers a secure future that guarantees quality education to its students.  

Hittite University with its experienced faculty members, dynamic and competent lecturers, is taking firm steps towards its mission with the slogan of "Brand City World University". As a modern university that has national and international reputation, is integrated with its region and industry in all aspects, and is open to innovations succeeded in attracting attention. 

In line with the great aims we set, our efforts showed their results and became fruitful quickly. From 2006, when Hittite University started its educational life to September 2017, 18,475 students, of whom 1,641 are graduate students, continue their education and training activities successfully in 9 faculties, 3 institutes, 2 colleges and 7 vocational schools. While the number of foreign students is 186, the majority of our students are our brothers from Central Asian Republics. On the other hand, we host students from 27 different countries, from Europe to North Africa, from the Middle East to the Balkans and the Caucasus. We proceed to work on the restructuring the system of education in order to improve the quality of education for a world class university that competes with the world, to continue education in a more contemporary and flexible structure, and to offer our students a successful and versatile future. Our ultimate goal is to produce graduates who know at least one foreign language, read constantly, research, inquire, pursue their goals and do not have any future concerns. 

At the same time, more detailed researches on many subjects are being carried out by our faculty members in our research centers, the number of which has reached 14 today, and there is also 1 Research Hospital. All these educational activities are carried out by 698 faculty member and 377 administrative staff working full-time at our University. Thus, Hittite University became a large institution with a population of approximately 20,000.
